Hurt isn’t an excuse.

Lose yourself in your hurt.
“Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Faith happens when you don’t have formulas.
“Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it.” -Hebrews 11:1 NCV
When Jesus had finished giving these instructions to his twelve disciples, he went out to teach and preach in towns throughout the region. John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” Jesus told them, “Go back to John and tell him what you have heard and seen— the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor.” “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” -Matthew 11:1-5 NLT, Matthew 11:6 NKJV
Believe God for the best, but trust God no matter what.

Sundays matter.
Let us think about each other and help each other to show love and do good deeds. You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming. -Hebrews 10:24-25 NCV

Sundays aren’t enough.
You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its salty taste, it cannot be made salty again. It is good for nothing, except to be thrown out and walked on. “You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden. And people don’t hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lampstand so the light shines for all the people in the house. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Wisdom: “the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise” -Oxford Languages
“The Lord made me at the beginning of His creation, before His works of long ago. I was formed before ancient times, from the beginning, before the earth began. I was born when there were no watery depths and no springs filled with water. I was delivered before the mountains and hills were established, before He made the land, the fields, or the first soil on earth. I was there when He established the heavens, when He laid out the horizon on the surface of the ocean, when He placed the skies above, when the fountains of the ocean gushed out, when He set a limit for the sea so that the waters would not violate His command, when He laid out the foundations of the earth. I was a skilled craftsman beside Him. I was His delight every day, always rejoicing before Him. I was rejoicing in His inhabited world, delighting in the human race.” -Proverbs 8:22-31 HCSB
Wisdom comes to any heart willing to ask for it and pursue it.

Daniel-God is My Judge
Belteshazzar-”Bel’s Prince”. Nebuchadnezaar said this “Finally, Daniel came to me. (I called him Belteshazzar to honor my god, because the spirit of the holy gods is in him.)” Daniel 4:8 NCV
5 The king assigned them a daily ration of food and wine from his own kitchens. They were to be trained for three years, and then they would enter the royal service. 6 Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah were four of the young men chosen, all from the tribe of Judah. 7 The chief of staff renamed them with these Babylonian names: Daniel was called Belteshazzar. Hananiah was called Shadrach. Mishael was called Meshach. Azariah was called Abednego. Daniel 1:5-7 NLT
Hannaiah (Beloved by the Lord) to Shadrach-(Illuminated-their sun god).
Mishael-(Who is as God) to Meshach-(Who is like Shach-believed to be a Babylonian goddess).
Azariah (The Lord Is My Help) to Abednego-(Servant of Nego).
8 But Daniel was determined not to defile himself by eating the food and wine given to them by the king. He asked the chief of staff for permission not to eat these unacceptable foods. Daniel 1:8 NLT
9 Now God had given the chief of staff both respect and affection for Daniel. 10 But he responded, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has ordered that you eat this food and wine. If you become pale and thin compared to the other youths your age, I am afraid the king will have me beheaded.” 11 Daniel spoke with the attendant who had been appointed by the chief of staff to look after Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. 12 “Please test us for ten days on a diet of vegetables and water,” Daniel said. 13 “At the end of the ten days, see how we look compared to the other young men who are eating the king’s food. Then make your decision in light of what you see.” 14 The attendant agreed to Daniel’s suggestion and tested them for ten days. 15 At the end of the ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the young men who had been eating the food assigned by the king. Jacob’s Secondary meaning-UNFINISHED.
Israel-FIGHTER OR WRESTLER OF GOD.
Faith is an intentional fight.
Jacob learned to live by what caused him to limp.

Simon: Listen Or Hearing.
You gotta “Simon” to be “Peter”.
13 When Jesus came to the area of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his followers, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” 14 They answered, “Some say you are John the Baptist. Others say you are Elijah, and still others say you are Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 Then Jesus asked them, “And who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”17 Jesus answered, “You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because no person taught you that. My Father in heaven showed you who I am. 18 So I tell you, you are Peter.[a] On this rock I will build my church, and the power of death will not be able to defeat it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; the things you don’t allow on earth will be the things that God does not allow, and the things you allow on earth will be the things that God allows.” -Matthew 16:13-19 NCV
You are coming to Christ, who is the living cornerstone of God’s temple. He was rejected by people, but he was chosen by God for great honor. And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are his holy priests… -1 Peter 2:4-5 NLT
